New York Motor Show–SRT

Viper TA Badge

by John | April 24, 2013

Earlier this year, Motor Trend magazine took two American icons, the Viper GTS and the Corvette ZR1, to Mazda Raceway Laguna Sega where professional race car driver Randy Pobst drove them around the track as fast as humanly possible. The Viper went around in 1:35.77. The ZR1? Well it managed to beat its rival by over two seconds, setting a production car lap record in the process!

Needless to say, SRT’s CEO, Ralph Gilles wasn’t amused, and the net result of his ire was displayed, bedecked in bright-orange, at the 2013 New York Motor Show. Read on to find out more about the SRT Viper TA!
