The time has come. The qualifiers for the Circuit of the Americas Tournament finals this weekend are ready-and-waiting for the business end of this epic contest to begin, their dreams of attending the first US GP in half-a-decade as our special guest very much alive. Read on to discover how you can still join them, and for details on our live coverage of the competition’s climax on Sunday.

Qualifiers

The drivers who have so far made it to the final stages hail from nineteen different countries across four continents–an intriguing reflection of Simraceway‘s global appeal–and they could still be joined by up to ten new rivals with places still available to purchase for a $25 entry fee. Here’s are the qualifiers confirmed so far, along with details on how they qualified (Note: “MMR”=Most Miles Raced):

Saturday’s Heats

These qualifiers will be divided into four separate heats which will take place tomorrow at 9am, 10am, 11am, and 12pm PST. They will be seven-lap races pitting the majestic McLaren MP4-27 against the track it will be attempting to conquer for real when F1 returns to the US: the all-new Circuit of the Americas. The top three racers in each of these heats will qualify for the final.

The Grand Final

The Final will take place at 11am PST on Sunday. It will be a single, half-GP-length race for glory with one of its twelve talented contestants ultimately carrying off that once-in-a-lifetime, all-expenses-paid opportunity to attend the US Grand Prix on November 18th.

Our Coverage

The big race will be covered as it happens on our Simraceway TV Livestream service so, even if you haven’t quite made the cut, make sure you tune in to watch the action unfold. If it’s half as exciting as our IndyCar at Indianapolis Event in June, we’ve got a lot to look forward to! And for those who don’t get to catch all the drama, check this blog next week for the highlights.

We wish everybody competing this weekend the very best of luck and look forward to watching it all play out!
